T Towel steps

Here is the Towel I decided use. In the swap, my friend has chosen Pink as her favorite color. I played around with several ideas before I picked my favorite.

It is always so hard to decide, I usually can't make just one of anything...I expect to get at least 1 other towel.

I at least have a cute plan to follow...

This is some of the ways the pots could be done.

I measured everything to make sure it was going to be equal in design.

This is my plan. I hope to get this stitched in a day or so, I will then be ready to make fabric coasters for the same swap. So far I'm relly happy with the work. Now I am off to work on finishing up a quilt top today. Then I will only have one left for my costomer.

Working on T Towels

I am working on T Towels for a Spring Fling Mania Swap. They are coming along great. I'm almost ready to put pictures up explaining my thought process. I always have fun thinking out a new idea. Of course I can never have just one idea, I make at least two of everything. If I don't keep one for myself, I always put one back for an up coming gift. I sell crafts at some of the Fall events in the area, you never know when one of these extras will start a new trend.

Welcome

Welcome to my world. I am new to blogging and am excited to be a part of something everyone else is doing. I love quilting and crafting and I wanted to make a site that tells everyone what I am doing. I start a new job outside the craft world next week, but I still plan to be active in my Quilting and Embroidery. I have a studio (ha, ha,) that is a 12 X 10 space, that is wonderful. I would like it to be at least 4 times that size but it is what it is. I like to play in the Quilters group in Second Life. I also enjoy an online Quilters Guild, and I play games at Pat Sloan's site Death by Quilting. If you haven't checked out Pat Sloan's Death by Quilting you should, there are fun challenges and great friend to be made. I will post my pictures of the current Death by Quilting Challenge as I go. Please feel free to come along for the journey, and I expect it will be quite a journey. I want to make friends to keep along the way.
